The Children in Need Quiz is held annually in Culcheth and has been hosted since it began 18 years ago by Alan Dedicoat, the voice over man on Strictly Come Dancing and the National Lottery. He also worked on air for years with Sir Terry Wogan on the Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
Alan Dedicoat’s 18th annual quiz in aid of BBC Children in Need is not far away! Date: Sunday 17th November at 7.30pm Venue: Royal British Legion Village Club, Wigshaw Lane, Culcheth, Warrington. WA3 4LY.
Teams of four if possible please.
All proceeds go directly to the charity. There will be a raffle plus a special £5 draw as usual. Obviously, donations will be most welcome as well! Admission by ticket only which cost £10 per person, which includes a hotpot supper, obtainable directly from the venue or from Nick Robins. Call 07742 170830.
