Warrington Quiz League

This is a new quiz-style programme featuring well-known stars from various walks of life.  Angela Rippon is the Team Leader for the 'oldies' and Paddy McGuinness is the Tean Leader for the opponents.  Glenys Hopkins, a regular member of the Chat Moss quiz team, will feature in two programmes, currently scheduled to broadcast on 26th April and 3rd May.  We wish her every success!

Registrations are now invited for the 2014-15 season.  Registration forms have been sent out to Team Secretaries and early returns would be appreciated.  Entries from new teams wiil be welcome - for details contact either Cliff Houghton or Stuart Miller or though this website.

Quiz players may be interested in a table Quiz, organised in aid of Warrington Disability Partnership by Roy and Liz Smith (Roy plays for Hatton Coterie).  The quiz takes place at St Oswald's Catholic Club, Padgate Lane on the last Friday of each month, excluding July and December, at 7:30 pm for a prompt 8 pm start.  The quiz is varied and includes pictures and dingbats.  There are also additional events with prizes for both the quiz and the other events.  Entry is £2 per head, with an additional £1.50 for a pie and peas supper.  Teams should consist of no more than six members.  Several quiz players already take part and all other entrants will be welcome.
